For weeks, people have been living inside a baseball stadium.
The ground is made of red dirt. When it rains—and right now, it is raining hard—everything becomes much more difficult: moving around, getting dry, and maintaining basic hygiene. This is not a normal situation. But it is the reality for thousands of families who have lost everything and still have nowhere to go.
CISP is active in three temporary camps in La Guaira: the José María Vargas Sports Complex in Maiquetía, the César Nieves Stadium, and the Playa Grande Recreational Center.
